CITY OF ASTORIA GRANTS

The Grant Application Window Is Now Closed.

The City of Astoria is proud to offer two grant opportunities to eligible organizations and projects within the City of Astoria. The two grants are the Community Organization Grant, and the Arts and Cultural Programs to Promote Tourism Grant Program. Further information regarding these grants can be found below. 

Arts and Culture Program to Promote Tourism Grant

The City of Astoria established the Arts and Cultural Program to Promote Tourism to provide funding to art and cultural events that will increase tourism in the City. Grant funding is provided through the Promote Astoria Fund which receives its fund from Transient Lodging taxes.

Grant applications are due February 28, 2024.

Community Organization (Social Services) Grant Program

The intent of this program is to provide a grant opportunity to well established, not for profit social service organizations within the City of Astoria community who provide essential services to residents of Astoria. 

Grant applications are due February 28, 2024

Key Dates

  • February 28, 2024: Applications due (both programs)
  • March 12, 2024: Budget Subcommittee Meeting - Arts & Culture Program to Promote Astoria Grant Program
  • March 14, 2024: Budget Subcommittee Meeting - Community Organization Grant Program
  • April 22, 2024: Budget Committee meetings will begin
