Mon, Oct 25, 2021

The City of Astoria is reporting an employee who works with the Maintenance, Aquatics/Recreation, and Childcare Divisions of the Astoria Parks and Recreation Department has tested positive for COVID-19. We have communicated directly with all staff members who may have been in close contact (within 6 feet of someone for a cumulative total of 15 minutes or more over a 24-hour period).

All health and safety protocols are being followed at all Parks facilities and staff are sanitizing and cleaning common areas regularly. The City of Astoria continues to remain diligent with State of Oregon and CDC COVID-19 protocols and is following all recommendations of the Oregon Health Authority.
