Building Permits & Inspections
The Building Division administers the City’s permit and inspection program through the enforcement of the Oregon Structural, Mechanical, and Plumbing Codes.
The City participates in Oregon E-Permitting program which allows applicants to apply online. More information about E-Permitting can be found here - E-Permitting Link.
If you are a homeowner, you are authorized to apply for a permit. Homeowner submittals can be found here - Homeowner Submittals Link.
Electrical Permits - Clatsop County handles electrical permits and inspections. Information on electrical permits can be found here https://www.clatsopcounty.gov/building.
Engineering Permits – permits for grading & erosion, site development (construction) and right-of-way permits, please go to the Engineering Division’s page.
