Join us as we update the Parks Department’s 2016 Master Plan!

Astoria Parks and Recreation has hired planning consultant Mackenzie to work with the community to develop an updated Parks Master Plan that will guide our parks and programming into the future. We will be holding several public engagement opportunities, including open houses and online surveys, to hear directly from you and inform our efforts! Save this page and check back for upcoming event information! 

Between now and April 2026, we want YOUR feedback on what we do well, what can be improved, and what amenities and services you’d like us to focus on in the next ten years. An updated plan assists staff in making operational decisions and will help us to successfully pursue grants and funding opportunities.

Our next Open House will be at the Astoria Public Library (450 10th St, Astoria) with on January 24th from 1-3PM. Presentations will be provided at 1:30 & 2:00pm
