Join us as we update the Parks Department’s 2016 Master Plan!
Astoria Parks and Recreation has hired planning consultant Mackenzie to work with the community to develop an updated Parks Master Plan that will guide our parks and programming into the future. We will be holding several public engagement opportunities, including open houses and online surveys, to hear directly from you and inform our efforts! Save this page and check back for upcoming event information!
Between now and April 2026, we want YOUR feedback on what we do well, what can be improved, and what amenities and services you’d like us to focus on in the next ten years. An updated plan assists staff in making operational decisions and will help us to successfully pursue grants and funding opportunities.
On November 15th from 12:00-2:00pm join us for a kick-off Open House at the Astoria Armory (1636 Exchange St, Astoria) with FREE FOOD AND ACTIVITIES. This event will allow Parks staff to hear directly from residents and stakeholders about how the Parks Department can best serve the community through this process!
Visit this Plan Update page often to learn about community meetings, take online surveys, and see updates on progress!
