Ocean View Cemetery

Opened 1898 by the City of Astoria. There are 100 acres of property with 50 acres developed. 16,000 interments at cemetery. Lake views with all kinds of wildlife on the grounds.

Astoria Aquatic Center

The Astoria Aquatic Center features four pools and a large fitness area - all under one roof. Our pools include a 6 lane, 25 yard lap pool, recreation pool with a lazy river, hot tub and a heated kiddie pool.

Maritime Memorial

Bay St & Marine Dr This beautiful space is a Riverside park with a granite memorial wall, landscaping, an historic fresh water fountain from the original Shively Park, walkway and picnic area. “The Maritime Memorial Park is designed to commemorate the lives of the people who were intimately involved with maritime activities. Please respect the dignity of this plaza and honor those remembered here.” This is a beautiful spot for weddings and picnics.

Employee of the Month

Chris Wood

Chris Wood is our Employee of the Month! Chris has been a Lead Front Desk Clerk at the Astoria Aquatic Center for over four years and is much appreciated by our regular patrons. Chris's skills with our recreation software makes him a great asset as he helps with swim lesson registration, monthly pass sales, sports sign-ups, and much more! Chris opens the facility Tuesday through Saturday and his positive attitude and hard work helps our entire team start their day off right!

Patrick 2

Patrick Smalley is our Volunteer of the Month! Patrick is coaching a 2nd Grade Basketball Team AND assisting with a K-1 Team too! Like all our volunteer coaches, Patrick's commitment to young athletes helps grow a love of sports that can last a lifetime and we are so happy to have his help. Patrick is very patient and focuses on growing his players' fundamental skills, which is why he's so successful as a coach for our younger group of basketball players! We couldn't offer successful Youth Sports Programs without support from community members like Patrick!
