Mackenzie Pierce is our Employee of the Month! Mack is a key part-time staff member from our Recreation Team and does an outstanding job supporting our after-school program, assisting with special events, and helping create positive experiences for youth and families in our community. He also serves as the sole umpire for all of our youth softball programs — a challenging role that requires quick decision making, patience, fairness, and a passion for helping young athletes grow and enjoy the game. Whether he’s supporting events like our Aquatic Center activities or officiating multiple games each week, Mack consistently brings a positive attitude and a strong commitment to recreation. We appreciate his hard work and dedication to making our programs successful and welcoming for everyone.

Volunteer of the Month

Kim Christianson is our Volunteer of the Month! Kim has been a tremendous support to our youth sports programs as a volunteer coach for one of our 10U softball teams. With support from her son, Ben, she has helped guide players through an exciting and important stage of development as they transition into a more structured and fast-paced version of the game. Coaching at this level requires patience, encouragement, and the ability to build confidence and skills in young athletes — and Kim has done a fantastic job creating a positive and supportive environment for her team. Her willingness to share her knowledge and dedicate her time has made a meaningful impact on our program and the experiences of local youth and families.
