Ocean View Cemetery

Opened 1898 by the City of Astoria. There are 100 acres of property with 50 acres developed. 16,000 interments at cemetery. Lake views with all kinds of wildlife on the grounds.

Astoria Aquatic Center

The Astoria Aquatic Center features four pools and a large fitness area - all under one roof. Our pools include a 6 lane, 25 yard lap pool, recreation pool with a lazy river, hot tub and a heated kiddie pool.

Maritime Memorial

Bay St & Marine Dr This beautiful space is a Riverside park with a granite memorial wall, landscaping, an historic fresh water fountain from the original Shively Park, walkway and picnic area. “The Maritime Memorial Park is designed to commemorate the lives of the people who were intimately involved with maritime activities. Please respect the dignity of this plaza and honor those remembered here.” This is a beautiful spot for weddings and picnics.

Employee of the Month

Matt Rose is our Employee of the Month! Matt is part of our Parks Maintenance Team and works hard preparing ball fields, cleaning public spaces, and assisting with grounds care in parks and burials at Ocean View Cemetery. Matt is also a key member of the City's Livability Response Team and helps remove abandoned items in the right of way and cleans public restrooms throughout town. No matter what the task, Matt is always happy to help and is constantly focused on making our community a better place.
