Ocean View Cemetery

Opened 1898 by the City of Astoria. There are 100 acres of property with 50 acres developed. 16,000 interments at cemetery. Lake views with all kinds of wildlife on the grounds.

Astoria Aquatic Center

The Astoria Aquatic Center features four pools and a large fitness area - all under one roof. Our pools include a 6 lane, 25 yard lap pool, recreation pool with a lazy river, hot tub and a heated kiddie pool.

Maritime Memorial

Bay St & Marine Dr This beautiful space is a Riverside park with a granite memorial wall, landscaping, an historic fresh water fountain from the original Shively Park, walkway and picnic area. “The Maritime Memorial Park is designed to commemorate the lives of the people who were intimately involved with maritime activities. Please respect the dignity of this plaza and honor those remembered here.” This is a beautiful spot for weddings and picnics.

Sarah EOM

Sarah Flynn is our Employee of the Month! Sarah is a full-time member of our Parks Maintenance Team and cares for Parks and Public Sites throughout Astoria! Sarah is hard working, smart, and always ready to help and her consistent positive attitude is apparent in everything she does. Sarah helps maintain park grounds, assists with burials at Oceanview Cemetery, cleans public restrooms, addresses livability concerns related to illegal dumping and camping, repairs playground equipment, and SO MUCH MORE! We are grateful for all of Sarah's hard work and are so happy work with her!
