In 2025 Astoria Parks and Recreation used a $50,000 grant from the Oregon Parks and Recreation Department to hire planning consultant Mackenzie to work with the community to develop an updated Parks Master Plan that will guide our parks and programming into the future.
The updated plan assists staff in making operational decisions and will help us to successfully pursue grants and funding opportunities.
