• Astoria Planning Commission  
  reviews conditional uses, variances, amendments, zone changes, and other land use permits
• Historic Landmarks Commission  
  promotes the historic, educational, cultural, economic, and general welfare of the public through the preservation, restoration, and protection of historic landmarks, buildings, and sites with the City
• Design Review Commission
  evaluates the design of proposed projects within the Gateway, Uniontown and Riverfront Overlay Areas based on established design review guidelines
• Transportation System Advisory Committee
  serves as an advisory board to the City Engineering Division and the City Council on transportation and traffic safety issues
