Contractors & homeowners can apply for building permits, submit plans, make payments and scheduled inspections through the Oregon ePermitting program for Mechanical, Plumbing, and Structural permits. 

Electrical permits and electrical inspections are handled through the Clatsop County Building Codes.

The City of Astoria conducts Building Inspections Monday through Thursday 9:00 am to 4:30 pm.
