City of Astoria Releases Annual Drinking Water Quality Report
The City of Astoria has published its annual Consumer Confidence Report (CCR), also known as the Drinking Water Quality Report. This report provides important information about the quality of your drinking water and the City’s ongoing efforts to deliver safe, reliable water to the community.
The Consumer Confidence Report is required each year by the Environmental Protection Agency and is designed to keep customers informed about:
- Where your drinking water comes from
- What, if any, contaminants were detected during testing
- How those levels compare to federal and state safety standards
- The City’s compliance with drinking water regulations
Astoria’s water system continues to meet or exceed all applicable water quality standards. The report is part of the City’s commitment to transparency and public health, ensuring residents have clear and accessible information about their drinking water.
